"Grey Wardens and allies will make their last stand against the Darkspawn. Maker, there is one last needed preparation before battle- the one that I believe is most important. I must prepare my spirit. I know now what has to be done in order to defeat the arch-demon, so... I ask humbly that you would grant me strength and courage for the moment I have to make the necessary sacrifice. It will be me- I can't ask the other Wardens to do it. Please...deliver my spirit into the land eternal promise. And Alistair... I know this would be especially hard on him, but I don't want his grief to linger. He must know that if he wants to honor my sacrifice... he will live a full and happy life. For that is why I do this... for the well-being of this entire world. Be with us... and give us, in this dark hour, the means to end this blight. Amen."

Alright so I guess I should also give you her background too...

Selba has a very independent mind, so naturally she was against the arranged wedding. She hated the Alienage even more- to her it was not a village but a hot stew of filth and sickness waiting to happen (and it did happen eventually lol). They were a pen full of stupid animals just waiting to be exploited by the advantageous humans that sat up on high.
So when Duncan recruited her into the Grey Wardens she did not get homesick... she just missed a few close relatives.
Selba generally prefers to negotiate. Though she is a powerful and bold warrior she would rather sort things out peacefully than resort to fighting. She does not blame all humans for the sins of a few- she knows that the potential for good or evil is as inherent in all beings. The only time she ever wanted ot jump straight into fighting without remorse is when the group discovered the dungeon in Denerim- the torture and the cruelty that stole her breath when she beheld such a sight.
Oh and if you didn't know already, I had her boink Alistair =3. No one else.

Don't know what else to say about her. I forgot some things that I am too lazy and tired to look up. I don't know what happens in the end if the playable character actually can sacrifice herself or not... but in this pic she's just preparing her heart and soul cause she thinks she'll have to =3
AND PLEASE don't tell me the end. Or I'll feed you to my Mabari.
